Hey, I don't normally do screenshots. But, I'm getting a little excited about moving from Kwajalein to Roi-Namur.

This screenie includes a photo of 'my' beach on Roi. :cool:

I had to google both of those places to even know where they are at. Fortunately the wikipedia article for Kwaj lead me to Roi-Namur. Looks really nice!! I can't say I want to live there...but I have a plan. Basically I want to buy a house in Austin, TX and then have enough money to travel to places like that (and anywhere else I feel like)! :D

In any case, here are some screenshots of my Ubuntu desktop. The first is a plain desktop shot, the second shows off my vista-style window theme as well as the transparency effects on the border of the windows that do not currently have mouse/keyboard focus. Disregard the iTunes icon as well. I got it (latest version 7.6.2 I believe?) working under Wine but performance is terrible!

Believe it or not, this disc has been lying in my brother's collection for years now... and I heard it for the first time only a few weeks back. Now that I'm hooked, I play it almost 24x7.

No, any launches that happen out here are from one of the 'outer' islands in the atoll. I watched a SpaceX launch from the east north point of the Kwajalein boomerang one day. It was a tiny little dot off in the distance.
