Let the fraging begin!! Icarus 11-21-2007, 11:52 PM too bad the linux client is still not done, well it is but politics are holding it up..something about middleware licenses... http://www.linuxhardware.org/article.pl?sid=07/11/21/0433201&mode=thread once the client is out, THEN I'll be picking it up ;) Calipso 11-22-2007, 08:02 AM Wow, thanks for letting me know. I would have bought a Windows only version  !kiX! 11-22-2007, 06:33 PM Since the system requirements are not yet posted on here, I'll do it: PC Minimum System Requirements: Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista or Linux with advanced 3D processing or Mac OS X 10.4 2.0+ GHz Single Core Processor 512 Mbytes of System RAM NVIDIA 6200+ or ATI Radeon 9600+ Video Card 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space PC Recommended System Requirements 2.4+ GHz Dual Core Processor 1 GBytes of System RAM NVIDIA 7800GTX+ or ATI x1300+ Video Card 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space BTW, where does one buy Linux games? I am looking forward into buying this one. Icarus 11-22-2007, 10:42 PM There will be no Linux box for it, you'll have to buy the Windows version then download the binary once that is available. bwkaz 11-22-2007, 10:51 PM Generally, www.tuxgames.com is a good place to look. :) Just about anything from Id Software can be bought like you normally would (i.e. go out and buy the windows version). Id releases the Linux installer for free on their FTP site (and it gets mirrored everywhere). You need the Windows version because they use the same data files. UT2003 (and UT2004?) had a Linux installer script buried on the third CD. I don't know whether they plan to do the same with 2007 or not. However, tuxgames.com is still a good place to get this kind of thing from, because anything bought from them can be reported back to the manufacturer as a definite Linux-version sale. It's not necessarily obvious how big the market for Linux games is, so the more people that the game companies hear about, the better. :) Calipso 11-23-2007, 12:20 AM Unreal 2004 had the linux installer on the discs which was really nice. It was also very exciting to see Tux on the box. Would be nice if they did that this time too. Calipso 02-28-2008, 02:03 PM Any one know if the linux binary is available yet? I still haven't bought the game since I'm waiting for the linux binary. justlinux.com
