Hey,
I've run into a problem using Xming to log in to my desktop via an XDMCP connection. I am able to get to the login screen just fine, however when I try to log in the login screen goes away and I'm left with just the wallpaper and a mouse cursor. I'm not really sure where to go from here because I know the connection works. I can SSH into the machine and use a terminal screen just fine. I have also had success using Xming and Putty to run apps from my windows machine, but I would prefer to use XDMCP if possible. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.
