I just recently turned off power saving which I thought was the problem with kacpid using so much cpu. If I leaving the computer setting for a couple of hours and come back to it the cpu is under like 100% usage. to correct this I just restart the computer. Before I let it set it runs just fine. How can I solve this I have researched it for a while.

The next time your cpu is at 100% open a terminal and use the command top to see what is hitting it so hard. You can also kill the process from that same terminal window if you need to.

I just said what the process was "kacpid". But now it is fixed I checked for updates for acpid and acpi and they just released a new acpid update and now it seems to be working just fine. But thanks for the reply.
