sorry if this is in the wrong section.

recently ive really grown an interest in linux, even tho i really dont know what i would do with it.

can i bootcamp/dualboot linux? what would be the best distribution for the non power user?

besides the speed/price advantages, what can i expect? since im not a power user will i even benefit from it?

thanks

Funny you should ask... I'm running gentoo on a macbook pro v2 right now.
It wasn't trivial to install, however. I decided to stay away from bootcamp and installed rEFIt in OSX and then basically followed the wiki over at http://mactel-linux.org
If you decide to proceed with installing gentoo linux I can provide you with a liveCD (that contains the latest wireless (subversion madwifi-ng) to help you get started.
Be prepared to do a lot of reading and use the command line... it's the only way :)
