Hello everyone, I'm a new Linux user/bit of a dumbass and I have a problem. I installed Yellow Dog Linux 5.0 on my Playstation 3 some time ago. Recently a Kernel update (YDL 5.0.2) was released allowing use of the internal Wi-Fi. I downloaded and installed this update without taking time to find out that I actually had to modify the Kboot.conf file. This was my first mistake. Then, being used to Windows systems, I thought a restart would solve my problem and allow me to use the wi-fi. This was my second mistake. I then proceeded to restart the system and found it would not boot to the GUI and was instead stuck at the Kboot, unable to proceed any further. I have a boot disk which should allow me to load into 5.0 but it doesn't. As far as I am aware, I need to modify the kboot.conf to point at the 5.0.2 update rather than the 5.0 it is currently trying to boot but I have no idea how to go about doing this. Any help you guys could give would be greatly appreciated.
