I guess I'm lucky. Only takes me once. Unless I fat finger the password, of course.

EDIT: Oh, wait. Your talking about logging in to JustLinux, eh? I just saw the post on the front page. Didn't notice which forum it was in. Try deleting your cookies and start again, maybe.

Err.. That's just this thread isn't it? Any road it didn't happen this time, perhaps it's been fixed.

It's happening again:eek:.

It can only be the bloody pods. It can't be a gangreneous thumb because I get the 'greetings lugoteehalt' thing but then it goes back to the login thing. Am I the only one this happens too?

Boys and girls: If I'm not the only one this happens to then you're loosing half your traffic.

I opt for remembering the p/w and rarely have a problem logging in.

Sometimes it may be something to do with the browser but a busy traffic can also play its part.

Not a question of senile dementia - it says: 'Thank you lugoteehalt for just being there.'

But then it goes back to the log-in thing. Does this most times. Browser IE.

Did you try deleteing your justlinux cookies? In IE I think it's under the Privacy tab.

You should get Firefox! :D

That sometimes happens in IE, but when it returns you to the log in page, just refresh the page and you'll be logged in. We don't yet know why IE does this, but so far no other browser does.

Bloody hell, it works. Just did it, and F5 sorted the thing.

Seriously, I'd put this in big letters on the front page. It can easily do it five times before it lets you in.

You may be right. I just didn't figure there'd be that many IE users on a Linux forum. Sorry for the inconvenience. (by the way, it happens to me too).

Same here, I have access to two pc's at work, if I use IE on the one I get the same login problems. So I just use the maint. pc that has firefox on it and get right in.

IE never bothers me though as it is the only one I could use at work.

Unfortunately there's a number of log in pages. I'd much rather get this resolved, of course.

It got fixed, but now it's happening again - as I said to the nice lady at the std clinic.

Same issue, with IE?

Same issue, with IE?Yeh.... but it didn't do it to let me write this. Perhaps you've fixed it.

Not very likely, we still don't know what's causing it. It doesn't always happen to me either.
