Just had it downloaded and installed into the hard disk by copying the CD the only two directories (/boot and /slax) manually and put a Grub directory (off Ubuntu) inside /boot. I did have to convert the isolinux.cfg (only slightly) to boot it with Grub instead of the original isolinux but this distro can now do
(1) Boot up from a Grub menu to a full blown KDE ready to use in 30 seconds.
(2) No log in. Go directly into desktop as root (features as an option to the standard log in).
(3) Windows NTFS partitions all mounted automatically and can be drag, drop, read and write in exactly the same way of any Ext2/3 partition. If ntfs-3g were being employed I wouldn't even know.
(4) Sound, network, Internet, video..... all work without lifting a finger. I am running it on a Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 with a Geforce 7600GT video on a Abit AW9 mobo board.
I use it as a tool but this distro has been amazingly fast and modern.
