After hours of ripping, sorting, classifying, listening to music (classical, jazz, blues), hours of reading wikipedia (music related site) a little compiling of a new audio program, checking my mail, a little chat with a longtime friend with Gaim and going through a good bottle of red wine. That was a pleasant time without problems, you gotta love Linux. My friend told me we got over 10 inch of snow, i guess ill have to look through the window OR should i just read the news on the net ???? :)

People make fun of me, but being really really really into Linux is not the same thing as being really really really into Star Trek. This is about the real world. The PC revolution as a whole may be the most significant technological and cultural event of my amazing lifetime at least as revolutionary as the invention of movable type, and Linux is my opportunity to take a small part in the most important part of that... the revolution within the revolution.
Linux may not be the most awesome technology ever, but it is certainly the most awesome technology I will ever get my hands on. It's powerful, it's endlessly fascinating, and it belongs to me.

Women love men who use the command line
LOL
What's wrong with bash .... it's familiar, so it must be good, right ;-) lol
I had a friend who begged me to install FC6 on his laptop, did a dual boot setup, FYI using the gparted that comes with Knoppix is soooo easy it is almost, dare I, idiot-proof
anyway, he commented on the whole bash, ksh, zsh, tcsh etc thing...and said: "Can I use dos instead?" --- so familiarity breeds contempt I guess
just a pointless story while I wait for someone to reply to my networking post HINT HINT ;-) lol, just kidding
take it easy
