trying to network Windows XP to Redhat 9.0

Ok, im new at this and have no clue what I'm doing, so please bare with me. I finished the windows end. when i try to connect through redhat I get an error stating "cannot assign requested address". What can i do to fix this. I have no clue how to setup the static ip and dns information myself.




Here is how the hardware is basicly setup.

Am I understanding this correctly, your trying to use win XP as the router??
