[SOLVED] gentoo 2006.0 wont install hangs up.

I have installed gentoo on this computer before. The problem i have now is it hangs up during boot. it gets to 68% . and just sites there.

I have tried to reburn the min cd again and same problem. I also tried to download it form a mirror and same problem. I think its hangs up right after it detects my processor. IT doesnt make much sense because i have a few linux distros on the machine right now as well.

Don't have a clue with the given info, try booting with ACPI off...

FIXED PROBLEM by resetting bios to default. now it doens't hang up . I am wondering what settings i had that caused it to hang up around 68%

well that was the only info i could give you. The system would freeze. i had no way to tell where it was freezing during boot. I am glad i fixed problem .
