Just got off the phone with one of those technology survey companies that telephones CEOs and Sole Proprietors, to obtain opinions regarding Operating Systems.
She sounded like such a nice person, too.
{evil grin}
It was (obviously) an m$-funded survey, designed to elicit only positive numbers for Server2003.
I (honestly) hammered S2003 by comparing it to Linux, and baked about 15 different distros into my answers; stating that each situation is unique, so we need the strengths of many distros out there to support the wide-range of customers we have.
"Why did I choose Linux, and where does the training come from for us?"
Security, Reliability, Scalability, range of development tools, and TCO.
We get people who are trained in University.
I could hear her smiling, and thought I could hear signs of her being coached.
Who wants to bet that my answers will be excluded from the final analysis?
