i just installed oracle 10g database in my suse enterprise server 9. I tried accessing the page http://linux.site:1158/em as instructed by the documentation. I managed to login, but after reading all the licenses stuff, I tried to go to the next page but this error appeared:

"servlet error: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: _database._instance._sitemap._sitemap"

could anyone tell me what's wrong and what's the possible solution?

any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

btw i'm using mozilla 1.6

I assume this "lixux.site" is running locally on your system? If so, perhaps there is some more software or documentation to be installed. If I were you, I would see what kind of documentation I could find online.

thank you for the help. Yup, linux.site runs locally on my system. Hmmm.. that's the problem... I don't know what kind of documentation I need....

Perhaps the documentation you need would be on the installation of oracle 10g database? Sorry if that doesn't help you out much, but I know nothing about oracle. My only qualification is that I used to do Java programming. Perhaps oracle tech support can help you out?
