I'm using an external 802.11g adapter through the USB port. After an hour or so of uptime, the network stops, the keyboard and mouse buttons have no effect, although strangely enough I can still move the mouse and programs continue to run. I get a message that says the USB port in which the wlan adapter is plugged in has shut itself down possibly because of EMI. How can I prevent this port shut down from happening?
