Hi all,

I am new to the site and also new to linux in general.

What is the best version to install and also the best way to learn linux?

I currently use Win XP and use it to update my iPod, itunes, download music, use bit torrent and limewire, so ideally i would like linux to be able to support these.
Is this possible, if so can someone help me to do so?

Thanks,

Dan

What's the best version to install? Head over to iso confused and have a read there. In short: nobody can tell you what's best, you have to try it yourself to find out what fits your taste.

To update my iPod, I use gtkpod. As a replacement for iTunes I use amaroK. Instead of limewire I use gtk-gnutella; it uses the same network, it just has not the same pretty interface.

Since you are a first time poster, I edit the title for you, but in the future your threads will get locked so you have to come up with good titles yourself.
