SuSE Live CD Problem

Hi all,
I finaly got my laptop ready to start learning Linux I have downloaded the SUSE live CD .iso (which is supposed to run form the CD) have copied it to CD nothing happens! seems I need to burn an ISO image?
I have tried Nero but it will only write the image to the hard drive! I am at a total loss anyone got anyideas on what to do?
