I got home from work today (GMT-12), and I can't log into Yahoo Messenger.
Anybody else here tonight using it and have you been able to log in?
Thanks...

Thanks dkeav.
My linux boxes or in a crate on a barge at the dock about 200 yards out my window. Hopefully they'll drill down to my stuff in a couple of days. I'm sitting here with my Windows 2000 laptop using Yahoo Messenger. It worked yesterday. It doesn't work today. I hate technology. ;)
Dang network guys might have tweaked messenger traffic out of the proxy settings. I'll check with them tomorrow.

I got a lowly computer tech job. But, I like it.
A hero to some, a villain to others... ;)
Weather forecast: High of 87, low of 79. Windy, possible showers.
Any day of the year, if you need to know the forecast here, just come back to this thread. :D
My yahoo problem was a proxy thing. They're moving from a simple proxy IP setting to a proxy script. Seems to work now.

Paradise? Well, it was very humid at first, but rather calm and not too bad, especially after I started acclimating and after I started getting back in shape, since there are no personal vehicles here, only bicycles. Now it's getting persistently windy from the ocean side. I'm not complaining though. And, it's like a small town America. Mostly it's a friendly place.
