I was wondering if anyone has encountered any issue with sound while your Latitude D600 was in a docking station or port replicator?
Mine is having issues and I am sure it is an audio controller issue while the laptop is in dock.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I am a relative new user to Linux but I know a little.
The audio device is a Sigmatel STAC 9750 AC97. SUSE has already detected it and running fine out of the docking station as 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) AC'97 Audio Controller.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hmm well if the "issue" is that blood squirts out of the speakers you might want to call a priest. However you might be having another "issue", but we wouldn't know that. You didnt tell anybody what your issue is. We use Lat610's at the office and the sound is played through the laptops speakers regardless if its docked or not. Now you might be using an external connection, but once again, need more information.

Ok. To be more specific, I do not have sound while docked in the port replicator, only when undocked.
