I have some nice .png icons, but I don't know how to change Debian Sarge KDE panel at the bottom of the screen to use them. I don't need a complete theme, just few a few icons. Is it possible to change individual icons, using .png icons?

I tried Control Center -> Appearance & Themes -> Icons -> Install new theme, but it didn't regocnize even full theme sets. I downloaded icon themes from kde-look.org

I guess I just need to find the right config file to edit or something?

you should be able to right-click on any icon and change it to whatever you want.

When right-clicking, following menu pops up (below)

Move karamba Button
Remove karamba Button
Properties
Panel Menu

I just cant find anything that would ask path to the .png icon from properties or panel menu

Do you know where te actual icons are stored? Maybe I could replace them in that directory :)

in properties you have click the icon you want to change, that will open up another window. in the new window click other icons (radio button) and then click on the browse button, and go the directory where you have the .png.
