Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : annoying bug is firefox, anyone else has? (saving)

when i want to save a file from firefox (1.0.7), the save dialog comes with the name of the file defaulted. when i make a folder to put the file in, it removes the name of the file, so i have to type it, and then save.

i dont remember having this problem in fedora 3, but now this is 4. anyone else have this problem?

Weird, I had that problem up till 1.0.1, then always worked, and I am on 1.0.7 as well. Anyway, what used to work for me, navigate to the desired directory, then cancel the save, when you NEXT select save, it will open in the directory you navigated to, and have the name you want. Hope that still works.
