Hello, I'm very new to linux and just managed to get red hat fedora core 4 installed and working. Soon I decided to get the kde games off of their website, I then unextracted the files and tried to compile it by running a green thing called configure, heres what i get:

This particular compiler version is blacklisted because it
is known to miscompile KDE. Please use a newer version, or
if that is not yet available, choose an older version.

Please do not report a bug or bother us reporting this
configure error. We know about it, and we introduced
it by intention to avoid untraceable bugs or crashes in KDE.

How do I correctly compile this so I can play the games?

you probably want to use whatever package manager is availible in fc4 to install kde-games. I think what they're saying is that the gcc version you have is not going to correctly compile their sourcecode. You could either get the recommended gcc version or install binaries using apt-get or yum.
