Best Sharing/Forum Free Service

Hello everyone. I am looking into setting up some sort of group/forum/media share site of some sort. I know I could set up my own box for it, but I neither have the time nor the cash for the bandwidth. Are there any services out there (free of charge that) that any of you recommend. I was looking at yahoo groups. Seemed fine until I realized it does not allow you to post more than 5 Megs/user account. It is quite possible we will be sharing loads of pictures, so the more space allowed the better.

I do not know if they have blogs/forums available, or what the available space is. I do know that they put advertising on your site.

I host my site on godaddy.com for $3.95 per month, with 500 MB of disk space and 25 GB of bandwidth. However, for that price you do not get blogs/forums and so forth. The next level up is $9.95 per month, and that gets you 2 GB of disk space and 100 GB of bandwidth, as well as the forum, blogs, photo galleries and so forth.

freewebs.com also offers free web sites, but I do not know about availability of features.
