i am wanting to use linux for dvd copying and downloading dvds only
what distro would best fit and where to download it
i am using a 900mhz amd k7 with 256mg pc133 and a 20 gig hd
Note! 20 gig is small yes but i will be deleting them after their copy'd

I fail to see how DVD copying could relate at all to which Linux distribution you would pick.
That is a userspace function, all BSDs, Linuxes can run all that software and it will all function fine on any distribution.
PS: we have an ".iso so confused - which distro?" forum for posting these opionion-related "which distro" threads... please _read_ the forum descriptions _before_ posting.

He's probably right. To which I would add I've had good experiences with debian sarge. But he's probably right.
ANY distro would do it just fine.

I always recommend Crux for dvd downloading and burning.
