I'm using a standard install (defaults all the way) of FC3 and have a strange problem. The clock displays the time as being 1 hour earlier than it actually is. So, obviously I went in to "Adjust Date/Time" to correct it. However when I go into that the time displayed there is correct. If I move it on 1 hour then the correct time is displayed. E.g.

Display Time -> "Adjust Date/Time" Time

16:00 -> 17:00
17:00 -> 18:00

This doesn't particularly bother me as I can just forward it by 1 hour, but does anyone have an explanation. The only thing I can think of is it's something to do with GMT and BST but I can't find any options for daylight saving tracking enable/disable? I've tried using NTC etc and it makes no difference.

So any explanations and is anyone else in the UK seeing the same thing?

Okay, first off... not a dumb question at all... but a dumb title. You want other people with the same problem to be able to find this thread when they do a search.

I'm going to take another look at your question now, and see if I can help you.

Hmmm. You got me. I can only suggest that you go into the bios and make sure the hardware clock is set properly. I don't know if that will help, but it can't hurt.

ok, sorry about the title. The BIOS clock seems to be correct. As I said before the only thing I can think of is the clock display seems to believe that it's now GMT and correcting accordingly (in fact it's still BST - 1 hour ahead) while the "Adjust Date/Time" knows it's still BST. I guess it'll be interesting to see what happens in a couple of weeks when the clocks go back (to GMT).
