Hey,
I installed Xine a couple days ago using apt and it installed fine. When I opened it the first time I started to setup my preferences and then it froze. I am using Fedora Core 3 by the way. So I turned my comp off and restarted it. Before it was completely loaded my screen went hay wire and fedora was written 4 times across the screen. Looked like a tv that had lost signal with all the colors sorta.

I wiped my linux partitions and reinstalled FC3, and the same thing happened. Restarted machine and now it is stuck at configuring kernal parameters. Any ideas on what to do? Windows XP works fine on it (what I am forced to use at the moment  . Has this ever happened to anyone. Thanks in advance.

What kind of videocard is it? (Is it something brand new?)
What kernel parameters is it stuck on (write it down).

I have a build in video card which I don't know the name of. Do you kno how I can view it in XP?
The kernal parameters are unknown aswell. All it says is "Configuring kernal parameters" Would I be able to view them interactive mode?
Sry for such vague answers, sorta new to all of this. Thanks again.

winxp rt- click on desktop-go to properties- settings tab - Advanced - adapter (for general info) - properties for driver info.
