Arrrgh, I missed speak like a pirate day. Even Linus got in on the action (which is how this post is in any way shape or form related to Linux:)). I could have really used a litte pickmeup on a rather slow Monday.

/me adds a reminder for Sept. 19, 2006 to PDA;)

Funny story (maybe): On this forum for the LAN party I go to a number of us were having a post count war (yeah, I'm one of them - how do you think I ended up with 1700+ posts here?:D) so in retaliation one of the admins added the word post to the censored list. It makes for some very interesting reading when you forget that they did that and try inserting other four letter words for the *'s:eek: (which is why your post made me think of this).

Then another mod set it up so that any time this admin's username appeared in a post it got replaced with |blackwidow is full of dookey!!!| which is highly amusing when people quote him. Fortunately this is a small relatively private forum so it doesn't piss anybody off that all of this censorship is going on.:)

Did I really just make an off topic post to my own off topic thread? Aye matey. :cool: (that's a pirate with two eye patches of course).

I play Puzzle Pirates, so everyday is speak like a pirate day for me :D

turns out yesterday was one of the days I did play it...

Slightly more fun is drive someone else's Porsche day. Then you don't have to worry about it :D
