Hi!
I just compiled all the required enlightenment E17 packages. Now I have problem starting it. First I run xwmconfig, but enlightenment isn't listed there, but thats not the biggest problem. When I run enlightenment (it doesn't mater if I'm a root or a normal user) I get this error:
DYNAMIC DETERMINED PREFIX: /usr/local
WARNING: Prefix guess was wrong. Guessed:
/usr/local

Tried to find directory:
/usr/local/share/enlightenment/enlightenment/modules

WARNING: Enlightenment could not determine its installed
prefix and is falling back to the compiled default:
/usr/local

::: ENLIGHTENMENT ERROR :::
Enlightenment cannot initialize its X connection.
Have you set your display variable?
E17: Begin shutdown procedure!
I did echo $DISPLAY as normal and root user, but it was empty, so I export DISPLAY=0:0 and xhost +localhost, but I still get the same error. Thank you!

Is X running? If not you need to start it. You can tell it to start enlightenment by adding the command to ~/.xinitrc. Otherwise it's possible to start X with twm then kill twm and start a new window manager. That gets a bit tedious though.:)
