Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I was wondering if there are any distros that have some kind of 3d desktop similar to what Sun was working on. I found http://desk3d.sourceforge.net/ had something similar but I'm still wondering if any distros come with their own 3d desktop stuff o_O

Anyway, again sorry if this is in the wrong forum and sorry if this has been asked before :)

Can't say I know of any distros that have an inherent 3d desktop but those screenshots are 'kin sexy! :D

Nah...3ddesktop is just a workspace switcher. Like this:

I'm not aware of any FOSS project like Sun's.

there is metisse, but it uses the powerful but ugly-by-default fvwm window manager.
