Cool stuff, a very interesting view of UI design check it out at

I have been playing with it on both vmware and virtual pc. Its only in alpha but I think it could turn in to something very cool. Anyone else here play with it?

Nope, but I think it would be a great OS for my mom.

In the most recent episode of LugRadio they have an interesting interview with Ryan Quinn.

I have checked it out, and I also figure that it is going to be really cool when they get finished with it.

I like their approach to the desktop, with the special functions tucked into the corners.

I am definitely looking forward to the next releases.

i am not that interested in the OS, but the WM looks really cool. a modified fvwm?

Must resist... Urge to reformat HD and install is powerful... Must stick to one distro... Must stop compulsive reinstalling and distro-hopping... resolve weakening... strength draining... downloading iso... arrrgghhhhh! :eek:

Edit: Hmm... wouldn't install. CD appeared to be looking for itself in the wrong place. That desktop looks tasty, though. If it's any good, I'm sure it'll be available with the next stable debian release, which I estimate ought to be out by roughly around August, 2012.

Wow, this UI is awesome, just what I've been looking for. Ion is a little hard for a new user to get used to and fluxbox's menu seems a bit small and limited in some ways.

I've been looking for a creative, intuitive, and easy to use UI. This is perfect for my parents who are rather computer illiterate.

hmm, If I remember right, the Myan calendar ends in 2012......So maybe they already knew that Debian will never be stable.............
