Scheduling while atomic

So I'm getting the error messages at the bottom of this post in my /var/log/messages. A lot of them too - I'm starting to worry about them filling up my partition. The thing is that I've been having a lot of hard crashes lately too. Often every day or every other day. I'm guessing the two things are related since I know that messing with atomic code is a no-no and I'm guessing that somewhere along the line it comes back to bite whatever is doing it. I don't know why mythbackend would be scheduling while atomic, and I sure don't know why MPlayer is suddenly doing it (though not nearly as much as mythbackend).

I'm just trying to track down the source of these hangs I've been having and this seems like a logical suspect. The only thing I've been able to find on Google is about people doing bad things in their drivers and although I thought maybe it was related to the BTTV driver since I added that recently, I've had hangs when I had the module unloaded and myth shut down completely. Unfortunately I don't know if the error messages happened then as well because I didn't notice them until just recently.

Anyway, I seem to be having problems that are over my head so hopefully someone has an idea about what's going on with this.
