Hi group.

I have laptop that had a bad backlight. Dell came out and replaced the screen. Now Red Hat has an error at boot.

My knowledge of Linux is limited. I believe I need to tell Linux about it's new hardware but I'm unsure how that's done. Can someone shed some insight into this problem?

My thanks in advance!

Bob

Try running setup at the command prompt. That should take you to the x configuration option.
