For anyone that cares, I used to run windows and recently formatted all partitions (except a fat16 system recovery partition that sets it back to out of the box.), Installed Red Hat 9, Shrike, and I have a D-Link wirless PCI card. I know VERY VERY Few commands, like cd, just the very very basics, and have just about no idea what i am doing. I am trying to install the card and connect to a 169.something.something.something network. Also, please email me anything that would be fun, I don't care what it is, server, games, programming, whatever, because I just want to mess around the, er, "Accesability" of Linux. My email is billsarena@yahoo.com. Please post any other info you may need or soulotions to my crisis.

Thank you

Hmm...
I usually don't view posts that start with HELP ME, but...
I would try using http://www.google.com/linux to search the exact model of your card.
Personally I don't have a lot of wireless experience, so hopefully that link will keep you busy until someone with personal knowledge comes along.
