Ive got a setup where two computers need to print to the same USB printer.

Do they make a switch for USB devices like the used to have for parallel printers?

And just so you don't ask, i';m looking at a network setup and a printserver, but I'm not sure that will fly.

the only thing I have ever seen that works as your asking was part of a KVM switch. So, yes they do make something, but it is part of the KVM.

No, those KVM switches with a USB port buiilt in isn't what I'd go for. Try either CUPS or Samba (tons how-to's out there, try tldp.org for a few (The Linux Documentation Project)

Belkin makes USB switches which work like the old A/B switches. part # F1U201
