first of all my sound does work.. but not very well. i can listen to mp3s and ogg files in XMMS just fine but i have no sound for the internet (i am using firefox 1.0.4 if it matters). also, i have mplayer installed so that i can watch video clips or music videos but i have to stop xmms for the audio to work and then after the video is done and i go to play another mp3 i have to reconfigure my soundcard and output drivers. right now xmms and mplayer are using alsa. does anyone know how to solve my problem (either of them). if need to know what kind of soundcard i am using or if i have not provided enough info then please let me know.
