Hello i have just started using Fedora Core 4 and i am trying to use the internet on it, i have installed it on a Fujitsu Amilo D Laptop with 2.2 GHz processor, 256 MB Ram, Radeon Mobility M6 Video Card.
Having successfullly installed the OS i moved on to tackling the internet. Having inserted my wireless card into the machine nothing much happened, and i am at a total loss as to what to do as i have never done this kind of thing before. my card is said to be supported so i do believe it is an error on my behalf. if anyone could over a simple guide as to hwo to solve this problem and successfully install and use the card i would be most grateful.
as i said i am a new user to linux, but am computer literate, so any commands may need to be explained quite throughly,
Thanking you in advance,
Budman
PS the card is a Actiontec 802C12 Wireless PCMCIA 802.11b adapter.
