Hello everybody

I wanted to pick up web publishing. So what are the software choices that is available to me in linux?

Preferably something with UI (something like Frontpage/Dreamweaver) :D

I have read several threads on emacs and vim but it is jus not quite there yet.

So any suggestions???

Thanks in advance

I've found Quanta Plus that was bundled in with the recent Mandrake packages to be a pretty good UI.

I've not used it for anything too involved, and some may disagree with me but I think it's excellent!!
Has the tag completion and colour coding, etc. You should try it.

Something else you might wanna look at:
nvu
http://www.nvu.com/
Seems to be starting to get reasonable reviews, too.

Plus, I also found a tutorial creation package called "wink".
http://www.debugmode.com/wink/
Now, you might not write tutorials, BUT it can output in Macromedia Flash format. Available for both Windows and Linux, you might just be able to "bend" it to your needs, if you need a Flash presentation.
(OpenOffice will, of course create Flash..)

-Enjoy!
