I am a bit of a newbie here and to Linux in general. and I want to know how to access the Kernel so I can play around with it. I am currently running Fedora Core 3.

"if" the kernel sources were installed with Fedora then they would be located in /usr/src/linux. To edit the config just type (in /usr/src/linux) .make menuconfig Then recompile and reboot.
