Is it just me, or does Monarch (http://home.earthlink.net/~bennies_1/monarch.jpg) need to get with the times and un-IE its website?

This is on FireFox 1.0.2

Not exactly inspired but I've seen worse.

maybe it's not an IE thing, but a widow size thing?

Hmmm... well, on my machine it looks the same when the browser is maximized. But, you're right, it may not actually be an IE specific thing.

Interesting, those broken grapics don't show up on firefox on my w2k laptop. Of course, the spacing is correct on IE, but just a little off on mozilla and firefox.

The image link here is on my ubuntu machine.

I call it bad html coding, also I'll bet the developers didn't even bother looking at it in other browsers besides the one they had (most likely IE, but could possiblely Safari on a Mac also)

Either way, it's just sloppy and I can't tollerate sites that don't bother with compatiblity or good practice

Yeah, I bet Icarus is correct and they developed the site and tested it with only one browser. If only people would stick with coding that matched the standards then the testing in one browser wouldn't be such a big deal.

Unfortunately, it's not as simple as that either. When I develop websites I always test them in Firefox and validate them at W3C. Everything works well and looks just fine until I look at it through a computer with Internet Explorer, so I curse and go back to my desk doing workarounds for the IE.

The IE is a really weird kind of browser... it failes to display websites that were correctly written according to the standards, but it does a great job on poorly written sites and forgivingly still renders them correctly.

Hmm, that's probably because the poor MS developpers don't get to eat right (http://www.bbspot.com/News/2003/10/top_11_microsoft_cafeteria.html) in their cafeteria.

IE does work when a site is coded too standards, most of the time...But un standard 'good' code is where it fails. I've had many problems with this. I do a bunch of codeing and see whats going on in Firefox, then just to make sure IE works i'll view it there and somthing always goes wrong...Oh well more people are useing linux and mac, everyday, and more people are useing firefox or netscape also.

Edit: I just went to there site and nothing wrong in firefox. It is a bit slow, and loads odd but thats small compared to what the screenshot shows
