I recently installed Ubuntu (Hoary Hedgehog) on my iBook, and when I start the computer, it says Xserver could not be configured, and than it presents me with a command line, anyone know what to do?:confused:

Or search on the Ubuntu forums for it, related to ibooks. Btw. I don't mean switch to Yellow Dog. I just mean do your X configuration similar to how they recommend if possible. je_fro 04-16-2005, 02:11 AM as superuser I'd do: export PATH=$PATH:/usr/X11R6/bin xorgconfig <answer all the questions, google your monitors horiz and vert refresh rates> and then do (as regular user) startx Then I'd bask in the glory of TWM.
