My Question is how do i get my cam to work on red hat 9 didn't pick up at boot time,do i have to mount my digital camera?:confused:

Install it if you don't already have it - under Fedora, it appears as "Digital Camera Tool" in the Graphics menu. You night be able to mount it like a USB Mass Storage Device, but I don't know specifically how Sony's behave. Plug in the camera, then check the last entries of the system log with "dmesg" to look for references to your camera. If it is assigned a device, like "sda", then you can mount it. drChuck justlinux.com
