domaine resolved to DHCP address

ok I had seen before someware that you could have a dhcp ip address connected through a service that would update the information to your domaine name. anyone know how to get this done

i think no-ip.org is a good one...

or just set up BIND if you have a static IP ;)

I use dyndns.org for registering, primary dns, and dynamic address updates. Used the free service for years, had no issues, became a paying customer when I had the need. Still no issues.

I use dyndns.org also with a client side script that checks to see if my IP has changed and if it has, it makes the update to my dyndns account.

my ip never changes? every time my lease goes up, i receive the same IP... i just have a DNS server running... works great.. would be better if I had 80 open though :angry:
