Would know of a how-to to get awstats running on Debian? I've been looking around and haven't been able to find anything.

Thanks
Jeff

Thanks Sharth....but after reading that it still doesn't give me everything I need...Like how to get it to work. It seems like something is missing somewhere.

Jeff That's generally the first source I use, I never really have access to things to check deeper, but I was hoping that there would be something in there..

From the bit that I've read, it's apparently cron based, but I'm still not sure how the program works, so I'm really not going to be much help.

Well that is a good place to get started, it told me more then what I already knew about it.. But like I said, it seems to be missing something. I believe the cron part of it is to update the awstats, which I find a little wierd since I thought it would be a live stats page since it is reading the logs.

Owell, my search continues.

Thanks
Jeff

Hmm, i've been meaning to give awstats a go on Debian. If I figure it out, I'll whip up a tutorial for you.
