I was at school tonight and got bored, so I logged into my home network and realizing that I hadnt update my FC box in a LONG time I ran apt-get upgrade. It upgraded over 100 packages including my kernel to 2.6.10. (via RPM). What i was wondering is why can't swaret update kernels. I have to do it manually,which isnt bad, just time consuming. Can swaret not do kernel updates because of swaret, slackware configuration, or is it a just a function of RPM.

In your swaret.conf, there is a line that says
EXCLUDE=kernel
Comment it out and you'll be good to go...
