I have a viewsonic vp171s lcd monitor. On my current background I have an area in the top left corner of the screen that is shaped like an arc that is about 1/2" wide and 2-3" long in which most of the pixels are purple and flickering. This arc dissapears when I open a window in that area. Also, when I am watching a movie or looking at large pictures lines of these purple pixels will appear in the picture or movie. Does anyone know what this is or could be causing this?
