I have an old Dell 2300 server that I want to be able to use for a couple of web forms, and maybe a forum server.

It's running dual 400 PII, 512MB mem, and has 2 4gb scsi drives that will be mirrored and 2 8gb drives that will be mirrored.

This should be good enough to handle low traffic usage right?

I will try to get an sql/php form server running, and it will most likely only be 2 or three forms. Mostly for help desk and troubletickets. Also, maybe a forum that will be used for teachers and students.

I will be putting slackware on this also

I work at an ISP at home, and we use equivalent boxes, running Debian, for higher traffic situations than what you have described. Should work fine.
