Just a side note, it's funny that I didn't have any issue configuring my mini PCI IBM a/b/g wireless card, but I'm having issues w/ my LAN card...funny...any way...
I'm running SuSE 9.2 Pro on an IBM T41 and I'm having issues w/ the IBM PRO/1000 MT. I thought the thing was working (apparently I was only using the wireless card at home) until I tried to use it at school and at work. I can get an IP address, but I can't get out on it. I can ping it from another box. I tried disabling the wireless and then pinging the yahoo's ip address (66.94.230.50) just to see if it was a DNS issue and the message I got was, "connect: Network is unreachable". When I bring my wireless back up, it pings fine. I checked all my settings in YaST and everything (short of the wireless specific things) are identical. The DHCP settings, the Routing, all of it is the same!
Can you all help?
