Keyboard not working in browser

I am currently running Fedora Core 3. I have only been using Linux for about 6 months, so I am still feeling my way around the OS. I was using my keyboard the entire 6 months and now my MS natural keyboard has stopped working only inside my browser(text boxs, launch bar, etc). I can type in the shell and any other application. The browser is Mozilla. I then downloaded Firefox, but continued to have the same problem. I have also looked through my preferences for something that I might have changed, but nothing jumped out at me. Can anyone point me in a direction on what I can check for(preference setting, drivers, etc.)? Any bit of help would be appreciated.
