Just wanted to thank this forum for the knowledge, inspiration, and initiative to land that elusive Linux lover's dream job:
[I basically baby-sit 180 Dell P4 2.8 (with HT) Optiplex boxes running RHEL 3.0 for a major US telecoms company in Silicon Valley.]
It may not seem like much, but for me, getting paid to essentially play with Linux boxes is incredible.
For those still job-hunting, keep at it and don't lose hope. The demand for Linux expertise is on the rise, as more and more companies switch to Linux as their development platform.
