winfast 2000 xp on Redhat 9

I'm trying to get my tv tuner card setup under redhat 9 & for some reason my system doesn't detect it. I have tried several things including upgrading kudzu to the fedora 2 version to try to autodetect it, but now I'm stuck. The output from lspci is

00:8.0 Multimedia video controller: Conexant: Unkown device 8800 (rev 05)

Does anyone have any ideas on how to set it up, I've read good things about this card & was looking forward to setting up the remote & all as this is my media box.

Just downloaded knoppix 3.7 & tried the 2.6.7 kernel & at least the tv part of the card that I tested worked, but the 2.4.27 kernel still gave me the same problems. Now at least I have another idea of where to start to get this card to work, problem is I could have swore that other people using redhat 9 are using this card from some of the posts that I have read here & elsewhere :confused:
