How would I load nonkde apps with qt widgets outside of kde? I know how to get them to load with gtk widgets (gnome-settings-daemon). Is there some kde equivalent?

Is there some kde equivalent? parabolize 12-18-2004, 03:55 AM I figured out that gtk-qt-engine and qtpixmap are what made kde load the gtk apps with qt widgets. But I still don't know what part of kde I need running in E to have everything load with qt widgets. Somebody on #kde said gtk-qt-engine installs a kcmodule but I don't know what and google isn't helping. parabolize 12-19-2004, 06:12 PM I got the gtk GUIs loading with QT widgets but not the way I want to. I installed 1/2 of gnome and loaded gnome-settings-daemon. Went into gnome control center and changed the theme to QT. I'm not happy running kde and gnome stuff but it will work for now. I still want to know how kde was doing it. parabolize 12-23-2004, 01:43 AM OK I'm very happy now. It works. No gnome-settings-daemon for me! Thanks to the people on freenode #kde. I had to copy /opt/gnome/share/themes/Qt/gtk-2.0/gtkrc to ~/.gtkrc-2.0. justlinux.com
